The News

Logan won his first wrestling match this week! Luckily my whole family, even my grandma were there to see him win and cheer for him. My dad was the best though. As soon as that whistle blew my dad stood up and cheered so loud! He was beaming he was so proud. Logan handled his win in a very humble, sportsman like manner which made me very proud. Winning is great and all, but it's more important to handle your wins and losses in a humble way. I was so happy to see him put this to action. :)

And. . . I got to hold a new born baby!! Eeeee! Our friends John and Courtney just had their sweet baby boy Zaxxon. He is absolutely perfect, sweet and squishy. I could not be happier for them. They are amazing parents and people!

Holding a new baby makes two things go through my brain; 1) I cannot believe Logan was this tiny once. . . I wish I could hold him as a baby just one more time. 2) I want a baby!! It's safe to say that I have baby itch and it's bad. It's also safe to say that my biological clock is tick tiCK TICKING louder and louder every year that I get older. Reminding me that I only have a few good breeding years left. Wedding first though, then babies. I'm trying to do it the other way around this time. Yes, Gray is well aware of this. I remind him that I want a baby, just not right now. I think the other reason I'm so eager is because of that whole being in love with someone thing. Do you know what I'm talking about? That whole, I love you so much I want to make another human with you! I've never felt that before with anyone, just Gray, so that means I must love him a whole lot and I'm marrying the right guy, huh? I think so.

Logan is at his dad's this weekend and we really have no plans. I am going to a bridal expo/show thing with my mom on Sunday for some mother daughter bonding time so that will be fun. Other than that just mountains of laundry to accomplish. Fun times. What are you up to?

  4. It's been awhile since I've stopped by. I can't even remember how I found your blog originally. I do know Anna (of Anna Z.) though! She, perhaps, may be the missing link. :) Anyway, I'm glad you have raised Logan to be humble and sportsmanlike. Those are two qualities that will definitely be respected later on. Kudos to you for instilling such things into him.
