The News // Funk-Blue Household

I just have to say that this week has been pretty damn awesome! Work has gone well, there have been a lot of beautiful days with lots of sunshine, Logan had a good wrestling match, we've all actually been in a good mood but more importantly, I received a ton of good news! My bestest friend Laura from Las Vegas is coming to Indiana and will be able to come to my bridal shower! I almost cannot believe that she is going to be here to be a part of that day! It makes my heart feel like it is going to explode! Having some of your closest friends so far away is so hard. I miss her every single day. So, I have her visit in April to look forward to! Then I found out my sweet friend Tammy is coming through Indiana soon so I'll finally get to see her sweet face, give her the giant hug I've been wanting to give her for years and have a few drinks with her. We found out my aunt and uncle who live in Chicago with their family sold their house and are moving to Indiana! And my cousin Jenny, who I haven't seen in far too long, is coming in town next weekend and we planned a night out for dinner, lots of catching up and drinks! Sorry, this all might not seem like a big deal to some but to me, this was all some of the best news I could ever get and makes me happier than you can imagine!

No plans for us this weekend. Logan is going to his dads so it will just be up and the other children. We'll probably work on some things around the house, grab some drinks and dinner with friends. The usual. 

I've been getting back into a gym routine and it feels so awesome! It makes such a difference in how I feel about everything. I'm so glad I've started making my health a priority again. I'm also going to start juicing next week. Going to stock up on healthy fruits and veggies at the grocery this weekend. 

I came home to a very sweet early Valentine's Day present from Gray. First of all, he is the best gift giver ever! He always gets me things I would never think of myself but that I LOVE. He got me Dana's Bakery Valentine's Day special macarons! I've never ever had one before. I've been seeing Beca turn those things out like crazy on Instagram and been wanting to try one for so long. They are as amazing as everyone says they are. If you've never tried a macaron, get one in your mouth asap. I might have put Dana's macaron of the month club on our wedding registry because, who wouldn't want to get a dozen of them in the mail every month?
