I have to say though, for as weird as the days have been, the evenings have been amazing and calm. Our little family has been the best thing to come home to each night. We've got back to eating dinner at the table instead of infront of the tv (i hate so much that we fell back into that and it's my fault). It has helped emensely. It gives us time to just sit down, talk and be together each night. I love it. :) Logi is at his dad's this weekend so I will miss his sweet little face!
This weekend we have a bit planned. Logan has his first wresting match tomorrow morning at 8 am in another town so we will be up early to head to his match! Poor kid has been nervous about it all week. I know that once he gets in there and does it, he will feel so much better about it though. He is so much like me in that way. He gets all worked up over the unknown, even if it's something he really wants to do. I'm so excited and nervous as well for his match. Wrestling is a super physical sport and definitely not an easy one on mamas. My dad wrestled all through middle and high school though and if my Nana could get through it, so can I.
I also have a post-holiday ladies night out planned. So needed. So, so, so, so, so, so, so needed. I'm hoping I can keep myself awake long enough to possibly do some dancing but we'll see. Usually by 12 I'm ready for bed. I'm so lame. But I am going to try to not turn into a pumpkin and stay out. Fingers crossed!
Other than that, I'm going to Lindsay's to work on a new The Kitchen post, talk wedding decor (I've really got to start getting that nailed down), and I'm hoping to squeeze in a little bit of a date night with that handsome fiance of mine. We do have to be up at the ass crack of dawn but hopefully we can get out an grab some dinner and a cocktail.
What do you have planned?
